Millie Elizabeth Tomlinson, 89, of Hilliard died June 21 at Hilliard Life Care Center. She was a native and Life-long resident of Nassau County, a homemaker and member of Buford Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Lillian (Lonnie)Freeman, Mary M.(Powell)Freeman, Stella M.(Virgil)Davis and Ruby (Carlos) Carter, all of Fernandina Beach, Delaine (Ralph)Tuggle of Hilliard, sons, Frank (Martha)Tomlinson of Jacksonville and Robert Tomlinson of Hilliard, 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services were held June 24 in Buford Grove Baptist Church with Reverend S.H. Stewart presiding.
Interment followed in Mill Creek Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Troy Davis, Larry Davis, David Carter, Mark Vanzant, Shane Freeman, Mike Vanzant, Paul Carter, and Steve Tuggle.
