The family moved to Williamsburg, Virginia where Kathy graduated from Walsingham Academy.
She married US Army CWO George A. Darby, and mothered three children, George Allen Jr, Theresa Lynn and Kenneth Allen.
Subsequently she married Peter T. Mutsch and she mothered two other boys, Steven Tomas and Brian Tomas.
A resident of Defuniak Springs, Florida, she died at West Florida Hospital, Pensacola, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Margaret Mary Logan.
Survived by her husband Peter, her five children; three sisters, Mrs. Adele Agnes (Logan) Hough, of Tampa, Florida, Mrs. Barbara Ann(Logan) and her husband Norman Thomas of Williamsburg, Va, and Mrs. Patricia Strickland (Logan) and her husband Tony F. Held of Sherman, Texas; one brother William Francis Logan of Tampa, Florida, and several nephews and nieces.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at St Margaret's Catholic Church, Defuniak Springs, Florida with Reverend Gerard Kocik officiating.
