Mrs. Nora Bell Clifton Glisson, 81, widow of David Marion Glisson, died Friday at a local nursing home.

The funeral will be 5 p.m. Sunday at Andrews First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Piney Forest Cemetery, directed by Mayer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Glisson was born at Statesboro, Ga., a daughter of the late Louis Clifton and Mrs. Julia Clifton. She was a member of Andrews Baptist Church.

Surviving are five sons, Willard Glisson of Georgetown, Wilford Glisson of Leland, N.C., and Lewis Glisson, J. Watson Glisson, and Ronald Glisson, all of Andrews; five daughters, Mrs. Lois G. Ethridge of Andrews, Mrs. Johnsie G. Johnson of Hemingway, Mrs. Modrey G. Chavis and Mrs. Shirley G. Howard, both of Geeorgetown, and Mrs. Evelyn G. Hughes of Monroe, N.C.; a half brother, Edward Aldrich of Newington, Ga.; two half sisters, Mrs. Maude A. Payne of Nashville, Ga., and Mrs. Jessie A. Wilson of Statesboro; 27 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
