MONTY PHARR ADAMS was born October 3, 1937 to Monroe and Marie Helms Pharr, in Overton, Texas. She died peacefully at her home January 12, 2003, after a four year battle with cancer. She worked thirty years in the Banking Industry and was last employed by Republic National Bank. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Roy Adams; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and David Buford, son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Amy Adams, grandchildren, Russell and Laura Tarver, and Zach and Emily Adams; brother ands sister-in-law, Tom and Linda Pharr, and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation 5-8pm Tuesday Klein Funeral Home, Champion Forest. Funeral service 2pm Wednesday at Spring Baptist Church, 1027 Spring Cypress Rd., Spring, Texas 77373. Dr. Mark Estep, officiating. The interment will follow in Klein Memorial Park, FM 2920.
