Helen Lois Wright, 80, died Monday, aril 24, 2006 in Sweeny. She was born Aug. 9, 1925 in Ballinger to Alfred and Emma Crager. One of 10 children, she grew up in a loving and happy family.

She married Clifton C. Wright June 5, 1942. During world War II, she served her country by working in the Pentagon for General George Marshall. After the war, Wright settled in Odessa where she and her husband raised three children, Richard, Ronnie and Shari. She was a loyal and active member of First Assembly of God Church in Odessa. After retirement she moved to Granite Shoals where she enjoyed a number of happy years before her husband's death. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Marble Falls.

Survivors include two sons, Richard C. Wright and wife Doris and Ronald G. Wright and wife Geneva, all of Sweeny; daughter Shari K. Gordon and husband Richard of Burkburnett; brother, Alden M. Crager of Muskogee, OK; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Emma Crager; her husband of 54 years, Clifton; seven brothers, a sister and one great-grandchild, Ashley Cummins
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, April 27, at First Assembly of God church in Marble Falls with Rev. Kenneth Womack officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Rick Wright,
Robert Gordon, Jerry Cummins, Wiliam Chilton, Dwayne sparks and Shawn Polk.

Services are entrusted to Edgar Funeral Home, Marble Falls.
