Died at age 2 from pneumonia. Dorothy rested in a single grave from the time of her death until her mother Jessie joined her in heaven. Dorothy's remains were then moved several hundred yards to her final resting place. She is now with her mom, dad, and her big sister Virginia.

There are no known pictures of my aunt, but her dad always describe her with long blond curls, blue eyes and a sweet dispostion. Over the years she has always been my favorite aunt. Way to young to have passed. I think the Good Lord was looking for an angel recruit the day you left us. Rest well Aunt Dorothy, I love you.

Above the clouds
Is where Ill be

Above the clouds
Is where I see

The awe and splendor
of being free

Above the clouds
is home to me.

Why God Takes Children

When God calls little children to dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometimes question the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with, the death of one small child.
Who does so much to make our world, seem so wonderful and mild.

Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold.
So He picks a rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but few.
To make the land of heaven more beautiful to view.

Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind knows will always be Good-bye.
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind,
Must realize God loves children. ANGELS ARE HARD TO FIND!
