Audree Rice, 81, resident of Puyallup, passed away in Puyallup on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000. Audree was born in Huntington, West Virginia to Zetta (Helphenstine) and Fredrick B. Tidwell on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 1919. Audree has lived in the Puyallup area since 1956. She was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Puyallup Eagles Lodge Ladies Auxiliary, and Lt. William Cox Orthopedic Guild at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. In June of 1973, Audree was preceded in death by her husband, Gene E. Rice. She is survived by two sons, Steven Huntstein and his companion Sandy, of Graham; Edward Huntstein and his wife Sandra, of Fairbanks, Alaska; two grandchildren, Bill Huntstein and Danielle Huntstein; one niece Jane Fortin, of Tacoma; one sister-in- law, Betty Tidwell, of Spanaway. Memorial services were held on Nov. 2, 2000 at Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Puyallup. Interment was at Woodbine Cemetery.
