Joseph married 2nd wife before 1951, Mary Connolly, born 1889 Chicopee, MA, buried May 5, 1962 in grave 8, with Joseph and his 1st wife & his parents.

"Joseph H. Dennis, 83, of 15 Mattoon St. died in Mercy Hospital Monday. He had lived in this city and in Indian Orchard most of his life. He was employed by the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Corp. of East Hartford as a machinist until his retirement 15 years ago. He was a member of St. Michael's Church and of the Holy Name Society of that church. He was also a member of the Franco-American Club of Indian Orchard, and a lifetime member of the Ludlow Fish and Game Club. Besides his wife, Mary(Connolly) Dennis, he leaves two sons; Leo R. Dennis of Meriden, Conn. and Wilfred J. Dennis, of Homestead, Fla.;two daughters; Mrs. Rose Malone,of Hampton Beach, N.H., and Mrs. Violet Woodbury of Longmeadow;seven grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at the George St. Pierre and Son funeral home on Thursday at 8:15 with a requiem high mass at St. Michael's Cathedral at 9. Burial will be in St. Aloysius' Cemetery, Indian Orchard. Visiting hours are tonight and Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10."
