She will be remembered as the playground supervisor at the City Park playground for many years. In recent years she has been blind, confined to her wheel chair.
She was the daughter of the late Henry and Amanda Ann Fults Lawson, and was born on a farm near Hepburn. Survivors are one brother, Bryan Lawson of New Market, and one sister, Mrs Goldie E. Fulton of Hepburn. She was preceded in death by a sister, Eva.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Walker Funeral Home at 2 pm Tuesday, with presiding minister Gary D. Windecker of Shenandoah in charge.
Casket bearers will be Murl McKinley, Clark McKinley, Alvin Lawson, Hal Fulton, Lee Fulton, and Darrel Fulton. Burial will be in Memory Cemetery near New Market. (1970)
