JORDAN-Funeral services for Howell H. Jordan,88, retired carpenter and contractor, will be held at 11 am Monday in the Hardage & Sons Northside Funeral Home, 4315 Main St. with the Rev. McCoy Gibbs officiating.
Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Jordan of 2050 Market St., died Friday in Cochran, GA.
He was born in Georgia and had lived in Jacksonville for about 30 years. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lula Belle Allen Jordan, this city; two daughters, Mrs Olive Harris, Fitzgerald,GA, and Mrs Lois Lampkin, Orlando, FL; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Blanche Bayer, this city; two sons, Charles Jordan, Fitzgerald, GA and Howell C. Jordan, Hawkinsville, GA; a stepson, Charles C. Overmier, Thomasville, GA; one sister, Mrs. Orene Dixon, Fitzgerald, GA; a brother, Homer Jordan, Orlando, and a number of grandchildren.
