Judy Bucher, 66, of Marshall, passed away suddenly at 12:23 a.m. Sunday May 15, 2011 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, Indiana. She was the eldest daughter of Dwight and Maxine Beltz. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Chuck Bucher, Sherri Bucher and her children: Theodore, Alexandra, Andreas (adopted from Kenya), Anastasia Yiannoutsos, her son Brice and wife Tara Bucher and their children: Madelyn and Avery Bucher. Judy was married August 4, 1965. She was a lifelong resident of Marshall. She graduated from Eastern Illinois Universisty in 1966. She was an elementary teacher until the birth of her first child. She returned to work at TRW when the children were in school. Judy was highly respected in her 23 years with TRW, where at retirement she was Employ Relations Manager. She was an active supporter of Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, chairwoman on board of Homework and Hangout at First Christian Church, where she attended her entire life. Her fondest hobbies were geneology, gardening and travel. She was an active member and co-chair of hospitality committee of Wabash Valley Geneology Society. Judy touched everyone she met in a positive way and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
