Anton Richard Suess died at his home in Elkhorn, Friday, March 2, 1923. Mr. Suess was born in Steinbach-Saxon, Germany, January 13, 1867. He came to America in 1885 and settled in Elkhorn. In 1896 he was married to Miss Helena Kuehl, and they made their home in Elkhorn. For many years Mr. Suess was in the harness business in Elkhorn. He was always interested in the affairs of his community and took a prominent part. Besides his wife, Lena, there are seven children, Elmer, Clarence, Frieda, Leone, Emmet, Mildred and Lloyd. Also his brother, Reinhard Suess of Elkhorn and three brothers and a sister in Germany.
