Nellie May Johnson 72, of Jacksonville, died December 8 at her residence following a lengthy illness.
She was a Baptist and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Johnson, a son, Tommy Blane Johnson, and two brothers, Andrew Carroll and Dennis G. Carroll.
She is survived by a son, Ronnie L. (Marsha) Johnson of Jacksonville, 4 sisters, Elsie Hodges, Ida Lee Canaday and Mary Jane Paul, all of Hilliard and Lillie Hartley of Jacksonville, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held graveside in Conner-Green Cemetery at 2pm on December 11, with the Reverend James Connor and Reverend Hal McIntosh officiating.
Arrangements were by Callahan Funeral Home.
