Young Milton Mack Jr., was the youngest son and child of Young Milton Mack Sr. and Louise Gilbreath Mack. He was born 2 Mar 1893 in Moorefield, Independence Co., AR.

He was called Milton by his family. His parents died while he was still a young man, and he lived with his sister Lou Anna "Birdie" Mack Massey until he was called up for service in WWI in 1918. He was a sergeant in the infantry in Rep. JR Battalion, but the war ended before he was sent overseas.

Y.M. Mack Jr. and Hazel Edna Parks were married at the First Methodist Church in Batesville, Arkansas, on 25 December 1924. Y. Milton Mack Jr. operated a cotton gin in Moorefield for a number of years, and he taught a young men's Sunday School class for many years.

From 15 November 1935 to 1 January 1940 Milton Mack was tax Assessor of Independence County. Then from January 1940 to January 1944 he served as County Clerk. He was on the Quorum Court from 1944-1950. In 1951 he was elected State Senator and served until 1957, after which he was a Revenue Inspector.

He died 20 Jul 1960 in Grays Hospital in Batesville, Independence Co., AR. He was buried 22 Jul 1960 in Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville, Independence Co., AR.
