William "Pat" Doyle, 84, of Maynard passed away Sunday morning, May 22, 2011 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

Pat was born February 16, 1927 in Strawberry, Arkansas.

He and his wife had lived in Maynard for the last 24 years. He was a professional painter by trade. Pat enjoyed several hobbies including horses, coon hunting, singing and playing his guitar. He was also a member of the Free Will Baptist church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Polly Doyle; four brothers, Billy Elbert, Joe Harvey Doyle, Bobbie Eugene Doyle, Roscoe Doyle, Wash Doyle, Ivorn Doyle; and three sisters, Ruby Fry, Merle Doyle, and Verlin Wright.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Janice Doyle of the home; one son, Terry Doyle of Fayetteville, Arkansas; a daughter Teresa Doyle of Dallas, Texas; one brother Jack (Borden) Doyle of Sedgwick; a sister Opalene Tipton of St. Louis; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and many other friends and family.

Graveside Service were held at the Herman Cemetery in Jonesboro with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
