Diane Marie (Cobb) McAuley, 58 years old, died at her home on Sunday morning, Nov. 1, 2009. Born in North Hampton, daughter of Irene (LaFrance) Cobb now of Raynham and the late Emil Cobb. Diane is the wife of 35 years of Thomas E. McAuley of Raynham. Diane is a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School, Bridgewater State College and in 1972 she received her Masters from Bridgewater State College. She was a teacher in the Raynham school system for over 14 years, teaching at La Liberte Junior High School. She was also a private tutor. She was a very active member of St. Ann's Parish in Raynham where she was a eucharistic minister, lector and CCD teacher. Besides her husband and mother Diane, she is survived by a daughter, Karen E. McAuley, and two sons, Mark D. McAuley and his wife Darlene McAuley and Stephen P. McAuley, all of Raynham. Diane was the grandmother of Grace L. McAuley of Raynham and sister of Michael Cobb of Stoneham. She is the daughter-in-law of Rita McAuley of Raynham and the aunt of several. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral from the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route138 South) Taunton on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church, Raynham at 11 a.m. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
