Leslie Alvin Ingelson was born January 5, 1910, in Moline, the son of Adolph Theodore and Hilda Marie (Lindquist) Ingelson. He graduated from Moline High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945. He married Verna Evelyn Johnson on November 2, 1947, in Moline. She died May 18, 1987.
