BENTONVILLE - Francis Arlene Meints, 77, of Bentonville died Dec. 2, 2000, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. She was born Feb. 21, 1923, in Benton County to Jessie and Sadie Haynes Jones. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers and was active in the Bentonville Senior Activity Center. She was a life resident of the area.
Survivors include her husband, Brune Meints, to whom she was married Sept. 29, 1941; one son and daughter-in-law, Alvin Meints and Charlotte of Rogers; one daughter, Lorett Heck of Rogers; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hickman Cemetery in Pea Ridge. Arrangements are by Burns Funeral Home in Bentonville.
