Mrs. Hallock, mother of S. W. Hallock of the firm of Blissett & Hallock, died very suddenly this morning of what is supposed to have been an affection of the heart. The aged lady was on her way to the Chicago & Northwestern depot, and after leaving Merritt street was walking along the roadway towards the platform, when she fell.
She was helped Into the depot by Officer Cutt and another gentleman, and experienced what appeared to be a severe fainting spell. A physician was summoned and Mrs., Hallock soon revived somewhat under the care of Dr. Noyes. She was afterwards conveyed to her home, where her death occurred later in the morning. Mrs. Hallock was about seventy-five years of age.
