Auburn - Mrs. Clara Schulte, 81, of Auburn died early Monday, June 24, at Shady Oaks rest home, Lake City where she had resided for five years.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Huffman Memorial Chapel, Lake City, where friends may call starting at 7 p.m. Monday.
Mrs. Schulte, daughter of Ora and Emma Lux Clapper, was born here Jan. 22, 1893. She was the widow of Tony Schulte, to whom she was married Oct. 10, 1911, at Auburn. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church here.
Survirors include thrre sons, Mearl and Ora of Auburn and Leonard of Lake City; two daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Opal) Bean of Lohrville and Mrs. Donald (Evelyn) Duncan of Rockwell City; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a brother, John Clapper of Auburn.
A brother and three sisters preceded her in death besides her husband.
