Daughter of George Everett Kwaak and Clara Marion DeWaal, wife of Henry Earle Moore, whom she married on September 23, 1927 and from whom she was later divorced, mother of Shirley Ann Moore.

Obituary - Gladys Kwaak Scheuer, 65, of Farmingdale died December 7 at the Berkshire Nursing Center, West Babylon, after a long illness. Born in West Sayville, the daughter of the late George and Clara DeWaal Kwaak, she was a graduate of the Sayville High School and the Methodist Hospital Nursing School. She worked for many years at Brunswick Hospital in Amityville, and had been Supervisor at Lakeside Hospital in Copiague. She had been a Farmingdale resident for about 40 years. The widow of John Scheuer, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Shirley A. Greco, of Farmingdale, and 5 grandchildren. Services, will be held at Raynor's Chapel, Sayville. December 11 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Robert A. Pollard, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Sayville, officiating, followed by interment In Union Cemetery, Sayville.
