Born in Johnson County, Tenn., February 25, 1919, Eva Zell Ashley Moore was the daughter of Thomas "Tom" Clarence Ashley and Hettie Caroline Osborne Ashley.

Her Father was born as of the name of "Clarence Earl McCurry", but later went by the name of Thomas "Tom" Clarence Ashley.

Siblings of Eva were Frank Ashley, Ralph Earl Ashley, and James D. Ashley.

Eva Zell Ashley married Robert Jackson Moore on December 22, 1943, in Mtn. City, Tenn.

On May 1, 2003, Washington Co., Va., Eva Zell Ashley Moore, a widow, died at the age of 83.
