Donald Esker Jordan, 89, of Sparta, went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2011.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ellen (Trixie) Mayfield Jordan; two children, Robin Jordan, of Brownsville, Ky., David Jordan, of Sparta; special friend, Connie Fish, of Sparta; four grandchildren, Shane Hodges and wife Michelle, of Spokane, Wash., Jeney Slusser and husband James, of Murfreesboro, Stephanie Jordan, of Sparta, Eric Jordan, who is currently in boot camp in Georgia; and two great-grandsons, Tyson Hodges and August Slusser.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., May 15, 2011, at Thurman Funeral Home, with burial in Old Bon Air Cemetery. Bro. Harold Robinson will officiate. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m., May 14, at the funeral home.
