Betty Jo Klein, 72, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Friday at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Weatherford. Interment: Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
Betty Jo Klein was born January 31, 1939, daughter of the late George and Ivy Redwine Stapp. Formerly from California, Mrs. Klein had resided in Weatherford for 20 years. She was proud to be a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. Betty Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Klein in 2005; brother, Earl Stapp; and sisters, Pearl Blakemore, Alta Hewitt, Jesse Cranfill, and Anne Doris.
Survivors include, son, James Klein of Carlsbad, New Mexico; daughters, Carla Kristufek and husband, Kenneth of Mineral Wells, Judy Cordle of Weatherford, and Laura Kristufek and husband, Ryan of Louisiana; grandchildren, Mark LeGault,Christopher Kristufek, Steven Kristufek, Aaron Kristufek, Heather Kristufek, JoAnna Cordle, Preston Klein, Angela Hix, Cheyenne Hix; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
