Margaret & William were married about 20 years until his premature death in 1918 at the age of 39 years.
The couple had 5 children: daughters Edna & Bertha; and 3 sons Wm Luther, Orval and Carl Alexander.
The Alexanders were also farmers, growing cotton among other things.
Margaret lived on as a widow until her death in 1952 at the age of 80 years. She resided with her children. Also, with her mother when she became widowed, too. A couple of her brothers also joined them adding some financial support, but it hard to imagine how they subsisted. JT
