Bernice Estelle Jones was born on Aug 18, 1909 in Sterling City, Texas to Thomas Kirk Jones (1886-1972) and Marie Elizabeth Kerr (1888-1962). The 1920 census lists the family.
She married James Blaine Sammons on March 20, 1930. He died in 1954.
She married Jess Koy on October 11, 1959. Obviously, it was after Jess's previous wife died in Nov 1956. I know for sure it was before Jan 1959 because he named one of his registered Quarter Horses that was foaled in 1958 Bernice Koy in honor her.
Jess died in 1976.
