Mrs. George L. Adams
Mrs. M. Rosalie Sneeringer Adams, 217 Baltimore St., Hanover, died Friday evening at 6:45 at Hillview annex of Hanover General Hospital where she had been a patient for one and a half years.
Born in Edge Grove, she was a daughter of Francis G. and Sallie (Jenkins) Sneeringer. Her husband, George L. Adams , died July 18, 1954. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and the National Council of Catholic Women. She also held membership in the Hanover chapter of World War I widows.
Mrs. Adams was a graduate of St. Joseph's academy, McSherrystown, and St. Joseph's college, Emmitsburg, MD, and was past president of St. joseph's Academy Alumni association. Her father had served as a United States Senator from 1881 to 1885.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. (She was preceded in death by an infant son, Francis W. Adams who died February 25, 1915).
Funeral services will be held Monday morning with meeting at the Panebaker Funeral Home, Hanover at 9 o'clock, followed by a requiem Mass at 10 o'clock at St. Joseph's Catholic. The celebrant will be the pastor, Rev. Robert C. Gribbin. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Edge Grove.

After the death of her mother, she was she was appointed a guardian, Charles Dominic Smith
The newspaper says as following:
C.D. Smith was appointed guardian of Sallie L. Sneeringer and Rosalie L. Sneeringer, minor children of Sallie L. Sneeringer; bond $1,500 and $1,200 respectively.
