Viola Irene Paulson, 95, a resident of the Salem Lutheran Home in Elk Horn, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at the Myrtue Memorial Hospital in Harlan after a lengthy illness. She was born in Walnut April 12, 1904, the daughter of M.E. and Meta Rossmann Reimer. She graduated from elementary school in Walnut. Viola was employed several years ago at Bakers Walnut Fruit and Grocery, later leaving for Wenatchee, Wash, and subsequently settling at Bremerton, Wash., where she was employed by the U.S. Postal Service.
She was married to Guilford P. Paulsen on Sept. 27, 1948.
Viola was one of 14 children. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband; six brothers, and five sisters. Surviving are one sister and one brother.
