Miss Margaret Gore of Paris, Mo., Becomes Bride of Dr. N. M. Baskett in London.
Fulton, Mo., Sept. 7. — News of the marriage of Dr. N. M. Baskett, editor of the Moberly Monitor, and Miss Margaret Gore of Paris, was conveyed in a letter today to a friends of the bride. The wedding took place in London, England, August 26, and was witnessed by two Americans.
The bride was formerly teacher of voice at Williams Woods College and matron at the Fulton State Hospital. She has been in Berlin two years in study. The couple will tour the British Isles and will return to this country by way of Montreal.
Dr. Baskett left his Moberly home more than a month ago and met his bride in London by appointment.

Mrs. N. M. Basket Dies in California; Her Ashes to Paris
The ashes of Mrs. Margaret Gore Baskett of Berkeley, Calif., formerly of Paris, will be in the family lot in Walnut Grove cemetery at Paris. Mrs. Baskett died August 3 in Berkeley and following a funeral service there the body was cremated. It was her request that ashes be buried in the Paris cemetery.
Mrs. Baskett was a daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. E. Gore of Paris. She studied in Germany and was married Dr. N. M. Baskett of Moberly in London on her way home to Paris. For many years she taught at Culver-Stockton College in Canton and moved to California after her husband's death.
