Jimmy Lynn Jones, 70, passed away on April 17, 2011 in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
He was born June 17, 1940 in Disarc, Ark., the 10th of 11 children born to Robert and Mary Jones.
Jimmy moved to Blythe with his family when he was 4 years old. He married Kathy Taylor in 1962. They raised their three daughters, Bonnie (Henry) Silva, Wendy (Mel) Culp, and Rachel (Rudy) Rascon, in Blythe.
He enjoyed seeing his grandchildren, Sabrina, Noe, Jr., Alejandro, and Nichlas Rascon, and Elissia Silva, grow up.
Jimmy was a caring and giving man. He enjoyed working and raising his animals. He also enjoyed fishing and doing things with his family.
Jimmy has four surviving siblings, Henry Jones, Loren Bennett, Cora Lea Clark, all of Blythe, and Tommy Jones of Missouri. He also has numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held May 6 at the Church of God with a service that followed. A committal service will be held at Palo Verde Cemetery.
