Raymond L. Meyer, age 88, of Holts Summit, Missouri passed away May 1, 2011 at his home.

He was born July 20, 1922 in Ritzville, Washington, the son of Jean L. and Mare (Meigual) Meyer. On May 10, 1956 he was united in marriage to Martha (Shreve) Meyer. She preceded him in death.

He was employed at Yosemite National Park. He enjoyed fishing, reading and camping.

He is survived by one daughter, Mari Henry (Michael) of Holt Summit, Missouri; two grandchildren, Christopher Adams and Tanya A. Henry: two great grandchildren, Dillon E. Adams and Jordan R. Garth.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Martha; one brother and one sister.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00p.m. Thursday May 5, 2011 at St Andrews Church in Holts Summit, Missouri with Monsignor Greg Higley officiating,
