Love was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She completed training at Norfolk Business School and worked at Cherry Point in accounting and in Durham as a secretary to the dietary department in the V.A. Hospital. Her greatest joy was being a homemaker and loving her children.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004 at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Bentley officiating.
Burial will be at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband, John R. Brittle; one son, John Walter Brittle and his wife Tracie of Manassas, Va.; two daughters, Anne Marie Brittle of Plano, Texas and Mary Frances Jarman and her husband Joe of Maysville; three brothers, Wesley Johnson Robinson and wife Anna Roth of Alliance, Leslie Thompson Robinson and wife Pat of Oriental, and Daniel Spruill Robinson and wife Idell of Oriental; and five grandchildren, Lindsey, Kimberly, Jennifer, Joseph, and Benjamin.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cotten Chapel.
