Mr. Normann was born in 1878 at Sioux City, Iowa, to the Rev. and Mrs. Olaus A. Normann. He attended Park Region and Luther Colleges and Luther Theological Seminary. Ordained in 1903, he served Home Mission parishes from Superior and Spooner, Wis., and later pastorates at Grand Forks, Velva, Leeds, Wolford, and Arnegard, N. Dak., and Cresco, Iowa. At the time of his death he was serving the parish at Lewistown, Mont.
He was formerly president of Grand Forks College and Northwestern College and was an official of the Iowa District. He was preceded in death by one son and his wife, who was president of the Women's Missionary Federation.
He is survived by two sons and four grandchildren.
