W.A. Adams Funeral Held
Funeral services for William A. Adams, Glasco, were held Monday, April 26, at 10:00 a.m. in the Christian Church with Rev. Dean Donner officiating.
William Albert Adams, son of John R. and Mary C. Adams, was born in the small town of Langley, Ellsworth County, Kans., September 19, 1893, and died April 21, 1976 at his home in Glasco.
The family moved to Delphos, Kans., in the year of 1900, where he attended the Delphos schools. Later he attended Veterinary College from which he graduated in 1918.
After graduating, he entered the Vet. Corps No. 1, U.S. Army.
In 1919 he received his discharge and began practice as a veterinarian in Glasco, Kansas.
On Nov. 27, 1920, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Krone of Delphos, Kans. To this union was born one child, William Denzel Adams.
Preceding him in death were his parents and four brothers, John O., Alva S., Frank N., and Charles.
He is survived by his son, William Denzel; daughter-in-law, Reta; and four grandchildren, William, Janet, Gregory and Tracy.
Interment was in the Glasco Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Duane McClintock, George Gentry, Dr. George Chapman, Don Davidson, Wilson Davis, Henry Blaha.
Organist was Virginia Halderson. Dean Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
