He was married to Harriet Lillian Stuve, on Oct. 1905, in Sterling, NE.

From 1905-1938, he was co-owner of Zink Mortuary at Sterling, Ne. In 1938, he purchased his brother's interest.

His father was a Civil War Veteran in 17 battles under Gen. Sherman, settled in Nebraska City in 1866, and later was member of the Nebraska Legislature.

He was a resident of Sterling, NE. in 1941.
