As a representative of the South we have John H. Crittenden and for a portrayal of all that the South is noted for: courteousness, chivalry and hospitality, there could not be a better representative. His one departure from the Southern gentleman, as we understand them, is that he is not quick-tempered, and for this we are truly grateful. In the last two years which he has spent with us, his good nature and soft southern drawl have done much toward making our life at school a most happy one. So here's to "John".
