Obituary for Richard Leroy "Bud" Warner
Leroy "Bud" Warner age 60 of Ulysses, KS died July 15, 2001 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital, Ulysses, KS. He was born October 4, 1934 in Syracuse, KS the son of Clifford and Thelma Margaret (Dyck) Warner. A lifetime area resident he moved to Ulysses in 1969 from the Menno Community. He was a farmer, and had also worked at LNR Fertilizer and EFD Freight, did coustom cutting and enjoyed helping other area farmers during harvest. He was a member of the Shelton Memorial Christian Church, Ulysses, KS.
He married Betty Buhrer on January 25, 1953, she survives. Other survivors include one son Doug Warner and wife Ann of Omaha, NE. Two daughters Rita Gee and husband Tony of Ulysses, KS and Judy Dieker and husband Eddie of Iola, KS. One other brother Gary [Garry] and wife Shirley of Sikeston, MO. One sister Pat Scott and husband Bill of Amarillo, TX. Seven grandchildren Justin and Jodie Gee, Mark Warner and wife Laura, Lori and Paul Warner, Erica and Tyler Dieker. Four great-grandchildren Bradley Warner, Nicholas Warner, Brianna Edwards and Alexandria Warner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Carol Nadine Warner and one brother Larry Dean Warner.
Burial will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery, Ulysses, KS.
