Charles Dock Robinson was born 18 Jan 1862 in Freemont, Newaygo Co., MI., the son of Henry L. and Mary Ann (Pucknobino) Robinson. "Dock" spent most of his early life growing up in Elbridge, Newaygo Co., Michigan, where he was engaged in the business of farming. On the 5th of September, 1899, in the Village of Hart, Charles married Mary Lewis, the daughter of Dominick and Helen (Chinggwon) Lewis. Sometime between 1900 and 1910, Charles and Mary removed to Osceola County, where they continued to live until 1920. Sometime after 1920, Charles and Mary removed to Cadillac, Wexford County, Mich., where Charles died the 3rd of January, 1925. Charles widow, Mary (Lewis) Robinson continued to live in Cadillac through 1930. Sometime after 1930, Mary removed to Traverse City, Grand Travers Co., MI., where she passed away.
