Helen A. (Burzenski) Adams, 84, formerly of Sterling, died on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 in Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, West Boylston after an illness.

Her husband, Lawrence A. Adams died in 2003. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Four brothers, William, Charley, Stanley, and Steve Burzenski and one sister, Sophie Kowalczyk predeceased her. She was born in Holden the daughter of Walter and Annie (Shutz) Burzenski and lived in Sterling most of her life.

Helen worked for many years as an inspector for Foster & Grant in Leominster. Previously, she worked for American Optical in Southbridge and Surprenant Manufacturing in Clinton.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, May 22nd in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road, (Rte. 12) Sterling, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Jasna Gora, 125 Franklin Street, Clinton. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
