A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he passed from his earthly home on Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was born June 23, 1928, in Avoyelles Parish, and was a lifetime resident of Bayou Jack. He was a retired farmer and is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Mary Agnes Mayberry Bordelon; a son and daughter-in-law, Kirby L. Jr. and Susan Bordelon; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Robert Thibodeaux; three brothers, Earl, Otride and George Bordelon; a sister, Lessie Bordelon Mayberry; six grandchildren, Tiffany Thibodeaux Mack, Lana Thibodeaux Mitchell, Alicia Thibodeaux Gibbs, Heathyr Bordelon Ayers, James Bordelon and Betsy Bordelon; five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Cheyenne, Bailey, Blade and Savannah. Wake was from noon to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, and funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Bayou Jack Church of Christ, Bayou Jack.
