DALLAS Special — Joseph Daniel Flagstad, 67, died Wednesday suddenly in Minneola, Fla., where he and his wife were spending the winter.

He was born in Hamilton County, Iowa on Nov. 26, 1900 and lived in Dallas for many years. He worked for the Dallas Telephone Co., the Chibardun Telephone Co., and had also owned and operated the Dallas Oil Co. for a few years.

Besides his wife Elsie, he is survived by two brothers, Henry, Dallas, and Bert, Barron; four sisters, Mrs. Oscar Halverson and Mrs. Oswald Amundson, both of Dallas; Mrs. Wayne Jarvinen, Racine, and Mrs. Lloyd Broten, Chetek.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. at the Dallas Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lyle J. Ness officiating. Burial will be in the Dallas Cemetery. Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home today and Sunday until noon and then at the church an hour before the service.
