ELWOOD-Mrs. Cora Mae Jones,61,of RR 2 Elwood, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Mercy Hospital after an illness of several weeks.
Mrs. Jones is a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Elwood. She is the daughter of Newton and Belle Moore. She married William J. Jones on December 26,1914.
Those that Cora leaves behind are her husband, two daughters, Zaluma Idlewine and Catherine Dever, both of Elwood. She leaves behind two sisters, Nellie Moore and Stella Frazee also of Elwood and two brothers Dewey Moore, Elwood and Earl Moore of Mishawaka. She also leaves eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren behind.
Friends & family were allowed to visit with Mrs. Jones for the last time at Copher and Fesler Funeral Home. Services were conducted at 2:00 at the Church of the Nazarene with Rev. R.W. Mier & Rev. Otto C. Stroup of Frankton officiating.
