He assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C. His awards include the Purple Heart Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. He is survived by his parents Patrick and Janet Callahan, a brother Corporal Daniel Callahan USMC, two sisters Heather and Melodie Callahan. He will be missed greatly by all who know and love him.
