As of May 30th, 2015, Gloria is still living in Joplin, Mo. at the age of 87. At the time of John's Death, John had 3 Grandson's Michael Wayne born in 1944, Ben Frank Mitchell II born in 1945 and Steve Anthony Mitchell born in 1960. Two Granddaughters Michele Lynn Mitchell born in 1952 and Claudette Elaine Mitchell born in 1954. John's Granddaughter Claudette Elaine Mitchell died in 2008.
On June 3, 1935 he married Dorothy M Mullenix in Richmond, MO.
They moved to Chillicothe from Cameron, MO 19 years ago. John was a builder and owned apartment houses.
He was a member of the Methodist Chruch, Masonic Lodge, Shrine Club, and Moose Lodge.
