She married Fred Alexander on December 4, 1945 in Bynumville. Mr. and Mrs. Alexander had lived in Indianola, Iowa before moving to Shawnee Mission in 1974. She was a legal secretary for many years, retiring in 1988. Mrs. Alexander was of the Christian faith and was a member of the St. Andrews Society in Shawnee Mission.
Visitation was held October 21 at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury where funeral services were conducted on October 22 with Rev. Chuck Hamblin in charge.
