South Bend- Stanley E. Krol, 86, of West Grace Street, died at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday in Northwood Nursing Home.
Mr. Krol retired as the Owner of Stanley's Tavern.
He was born June 26, 1908, in South bend.
On Nov. 29, 1933 in South Bend, he married Virginia C. Pajakowski.
She survives with a daughter, Sylvia Krol of South Bend; two sons, Raymond and Frederick, both of South Bend; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; and three sisters, Blanche Cenova, Mary Cwidak and Katherine Trzasjowski, all in South Bend.
He was a member of Holy Name Society of St. Casimir's Catholic Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the church.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon to 8p.m. Sunday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3546 N. Bendix Drive, where a rosary will be said at 6 p.m. by the parish and Holy Name Society.
