ROWAN FARMER DIES IN FIRE-Moorehead, Kentucky-A home fire Sunday morning killed Kendall Wierman, a retired Rowan County farmer. According to Jess McDaniel, Rowan County coroner, Wierman, 80, lived alone on his farm with only wood fires to heat the home. A passerby discovered the fire and called McDaniel at 10 am Sunday.

Wierman is survived by his sister, Lula (Lee Anna) Parker, Colonial Nursing Home, Owingsville, Kentucky
