Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, with the Rev. John Langrehr of First Free Will Baptist Church, Moline, officiating. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will follow the service at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.
The former Helen M. Shuck was born July 28, 1906, in Galveston, Texas, the daughter of Harry and Molly (Kile) Shuck. She married William E. Bjorkman Feb. 19, 1927, in Rock Island. Mr. Bjorkman died Nov. 3, 1972.
Mrs. Bjorkman was employed as the chief deputy recorder at the Rock Island County Recorder's Office until retiring in 1967. She had previously worked at Whitter and Walker Abstract, Rock Island.
Helen enjoyed spending her time doing needlework, painting, working with ceramics and other arts and crafts.
She was a member of Silvis United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Esther Warner, Moline, Catherine and Robert Atkins, East Moline; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Two sisters preceded her in death.
