Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Ackles, 76 years old, who died Thursday morning at the home of A. R. Bennett, Columbia Street, will be held at the Brooks Funeral Home at 2 p.m., Saturday, Rev. Ben Rolroyd officiating.
Burial will be in City Cemetery. She came to Union City about 20 years ago to live with her daughter, the late Mrs. Roy Snyder. She had been an invalid for several years.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Nora Day of Lakeland, Florida, Miss Mollie Guyton of San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Edward Guyton, of Woodstock, Ohio.
