David Wayne Cutler 1954 - 2011

David died at his home on April 13, 2011. He was born in Bremerton, Washington to Duane and Audrey Cutler (Williams). David lived his early years in Boise, moved to San Diego when he was five where he lived three houses from the beach. He loved the beach!

He joined the Army when he was 18 and served in the 82nd Airborne. He loved to jump out of the airplane and the ride down.

He lived a few years in Colorado and he loved Colorado and the deer and elk that would come into his back pasture. he lived a while in Louisiana and he loved Louisiana, his horses, Cajun food (but not the humidity).

Finally back to Boise, he and his dog Beaudreau. He loved Boise! in fact, there wasn't much about life David didn't love. He loved to fish, hunt, camp, surf, bowl, target practice, cooking, eating, chasing women - he loved life!

Then Parkinson's disease came to live in his body and made life more difficult and harder to enjoy. He still loved a good joke, and he loved to tease, but so many things he could no longer do. He still hunted some, had every kind of a call imaginable - ducks, geese, turkey, crow, elk. On Halloween he spooked trick or treaters by saying hello with his turkey call in his mouth. (It sounded really weird.) And his freezer saw many a trout taken from the Boise River by the Glenwood Bridge.

David is survived by his "Ma", Audrey Williams; brothers Jim Cutler and Art Hale, their spouses Carol and Retha; a sister, Corinne Janstrom and her husband, Tom; eight nieces and nephews and their families. And neighbors and close friends, Evie and Gary Jones, who Helped him in many ways. He will be missed.

A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church on Thursday, April 21, 2p.m., 950 West State Street, Boise, ID 83702.
